Description


As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the improvement and success of the Carlisle facility.  Must have the ability to apply problem solving techniques for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.  Must be able to lead a team to solve problems and suggest and implement ideas for a smooth and successful operation of the facility.  NOTE:  Available shifts include weekends and/or nights.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain 480V 3-phase electrical system of motors and starters and its associated wiring
  • Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as, identify any hazards or issues
  • Diagnose the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the issue
  • Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity
  • Install conduit and wiring to electrical equipment as required
  • Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible
  • Perform preventative maintenance per the company's preventive maintenance plan
  • Calibrate and maintain industrial process instruments
  • Provide support of electrical maintenance of operational boiler on site
  • Any other duties assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred 4 years+ experience as Industrial Electrical, or completion of technical or trade school with one year experience
  • Preferred experience with Allen Bradley PLC programs
  • Preferred experience with Wonderware programs or equivalent
  • State of Arkansas Industrial Maintenance Electrician License, or ability to secure said license
  • Must be flexible, a team player, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Must have excellent work ethics and attendance record
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
