Role Summary
As an Industrial Electrician at Riviana Foods, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and equipment at the Carlisle facility. You will apply problem-solving techniques to ensure smooth and efficient operations and lead initiatives to implement process improvements. Available shifts include weekends and/or nights.
 

What You’ll Do

• Maintain 480V 3-phase electrical systems, motors, starters, and associated wiring.
• Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure functionality, safety, and code compliance.
• Diagnose malfunctions in systems or components and create repair or maintenance plans.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment to maintain full operational capacity.
• Install conduit and wiring to electrical equipment as required.
• Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to the company’s preventive maintenance plan.
• Calibrate and maintain industrial process instruments.
• Provide electrical maintenance support for the operational boiler on site.
• Lead and support teams to troubleshoot and implement operational improvements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

• Preferred: 4+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or completion of a technical/trade school with at least 1 year of experience.
• Preferred: Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programs.
• Preferred: Experience with Wonderware programs or equivalent.
• Must hold or be able to obtain an Arkansas Industrial Maintenance Electrician License.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record.
• Good communication skills.
