DAY SHIFT, Monday - Friday

JOB DUTIES:

• Maintain sanitary conditions in assigned work areas
• Mix and dilute cleaning compounds using recommended concentrations
• Operate a forklift, as needed, in a manner consistent with company policy
• Communicate and document job progress for each specific task assigned
• Maintain sanitation equipment by performing minor maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or lubrication
• Load scrap product from dumpsters and totes onto trucks
• Responsible for storage of cleaning equipment
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and advise supervisor on a weekly basis

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Physical and/or mental requirements:

• ​​​​​​​Good verbal communication skills
• Legible hand writing
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 100 feet
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Good eye-hand coordination

Requirement used:

• Forklifts, tractor
• Grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers and weed eaters
• General hand tools and hand held power tools
• Housekeeping equipment including broom, mop, shovel, pressure washer, water hose, etc.
• Compressed air

Working conditions:

• Extremes of head/cold and noise
• Plant/warehouse environment
