Description
ORDER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - HOUSTON TX

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

        1.  Review inbound orders verifying established order parameters are met (i.e. weight, pricing, promotions, lead-time).  Provide a recap to management customers
             repetitively out of compliance with requirements.

  1. Communicates to broker/customer any pricing and/or promotion discrepancies identified on orders. Resolves issue prior to releasing for shipment.
  1. Creates outbound deliveries for EDI transmission to forward warehouses.
  1. Reviews billing due list for pricing and brokerage accuracy prior to scheduled job run time.
  1. Reviews Outbound Reports from distribution centers and Unshipped Orders for internal plants daily. Monitors on-time shipment of pending deliveries and assists in resolving delivery issues (short shipment, missed delivery appointments, etc.).
  1. Advises Operations Planning team of upcoming promotion exception volume communicated by customer or field sales.
  1. Works with Operations Planning team to resolve potential out-of-stock situations when ATP indicates a shortage.
  1. Communicates product availability issues to Trade Marketing, brokers and customers.
  1. Assists other Order Service personnel with order processing during peak sales periods.
  1. Submits new customer master record requests and revisions to Customer Master file to Order Service Supervisor for coordination with other disciplines within the company.
  1. Performs other duties assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree

  • Data Entry, Customer Service Experience and/or Supply Chain preferred.
  • SAP experience or training preferred.
  • Good verbal and written skills in order to interface with disciplines within the company, DCs, brokers, customers, etc..
  • Excellent team skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow-up on open work issues.
  • Flexible-quickly learns and adapts to changes.
