This position is located in Brinkley, Arkansas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervision and direction of all maintenance personnel including: hiring, termination, evaluation of work performance and maintaining labor budgets
• Manages the daily maintenance schedule and addresses urgent corrections
• Schedules all maintenance and capital work, coordinating activities between all affected departments and personnel
• Randomly monitors executed work orders
• Assists in troubleshooting all equipment and recommends necessary repairs to be made
• Promotes action plans to minimize downtime 
• Provide capital project planning and implementation as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain budget controls and insure timely execution of projects; helps develop and plan new capital budgets
• Set-up and maintain computerized PM program for all equipment at this location
• Maintain inventories of all maintenance parts, equipment and materials, as well as controls budgets for these items; assists in budget planning
• Maintain safety standards and procedures while remaining current on all OSHA, Federal, State and local codes and regulations

Skills/Experience

• Five years supervision in industrial environment with two years in a maintenance or engineering department
• Basic knowledge of PC and PLCs
• Two years purchasing experience
• Working knowledge/troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to setup and maintain parts and equipment inventories
• Basic knowledge of machine shop and equipment
• Knowledge of welding systems and procedures
• Knowledge of OSHA, Federal, State, and local codes and requirements that affect Riviana Foods Inc.
• Previous supervision experience and placement of personnel
