About the Role

The IT Support Engineer provides hands-on technical support across PC hardware, software, network connectivity, Microsoft platforms, and cybersecurity best practices. This role is critical in ensuring reliable IT operations for users at the Memphis facility and nearby Riviana locations, while supporting enterprise infrastructure and security standards.


What You’ll Do

  • Respond to user requests through the Riviana Helpdesk ticketing system, resolving PC and network issues
  • Image, configure, and deploy new PCs and servers as needed
  • Maintain system security through OS upgrades, patching, and system settings using Ebro Foods corporate security suites
  • Manage Active Directory user and PC accounts to ensure appropriate access to system resources
  • Assist the infrastructure team with Windows Servers, VMware, Office 365/Teams, Cisco phones, and application support
  • Support installation and troubleshooting of access control systems and security cameras
  • Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve PC and server issues
  • Manage, configure, and replace RF handheld and forklift mobile devices
  • Provide occasional first-tier after-hours support for the Memphis facility
  • Travel occasionally to Riviana locations within two hours of the Memphis facility

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of TCP/IP PC networking experience
  • 2+ years of technical PC and Help Desk support
  • 2+ years of Active Directory support and structural knowledge
  • 2+ years of basic server support (hardware and OS)
  • 2+ years of basic application-level support (Microsoft Office, Adobe)
  • Bachelor’s degree, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or equivalent experience preferred but not required
  • Preferred: CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Clear oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and established procedures
  • Ability to work independently when needed
  • General network knowledge, including cable tracing and VLAN concepts
  • Familiarity with security camera systems and door access control systems
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Windows 7, 10, 11, and Windows Server
    • Office 365 / Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint
    • AXIS camera systems
    • SOTI Mobile
    • Dell servers
    • VMware
    • iPhone and Android mobile devices

 

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Comfortable with reasonable daily walking distances
  • Willingness to work in hot or cold environments due to equipment locations
  • IT support coverage is between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with occasional after-hours support
