Job Summary;

Job Accountability:

  1. Process & Equipment:

Operates, monitors, regulates and maintains equipment required for receipt, sorting and transfer of material to storage or production to meet shift/daily requirements and achieve safety, quality, value and cost (S,Q,V,C) results.

    1. Troubleshoots equipment and product quality issues.
    2. Conveys shift information and knowledge regarding daily production, process and/or equipment performance to maintenance, QC, and operator co-workers and supervisors.
  1. Product & Quality:

Meets supply, quality and sanitation requirements.

    1. Probe, test, unload/load, store and transfer product.
    2. Follow procedure to monitor product levels and locations to meet control settings and KPI’s.
    3. Perform routine quality checks against set specifications.
    4. Creates clear, accurate, complete and timely documentation.
  1. Compliance:

Complies with all internal and external policies, procedures and regulations.

    1. Keeps work areas organized and sanitary according to set standards.
    2. Follows standard operating processes and procedures.
    3. Adheres to GMP’s, HACCP, OSHA and company policies and procedures.
    4. Responsible for own personal safety and safety of others in working area.

Knowledge:

  • Understands key operating processes and application of KPI’s, their  interrelationships, and how to influence production levels and product quality
  • Possesses knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products
  • Basic knowledge of machines and basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment and machinery
  • Basic math principles and reasoning to solve problems   
Skills and Abilities:
  • Reads, writes, listens to, comprehends and communicates information and/or work related documents in English.
  • Utilizes computerized equipment or systems.
  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify and determine root causes of operating errors and make decisions on course of action.
  • Conducts tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Drives and operates forklift and scissor lift.
  • Able to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without distraction.
  • Able to recognize when something is not operating to standard and take corrective action.
  • Able to drive motorized equipment for product movement
  • Demonstrates proficiency in care and use of onsite facility required personal protection equipment.

Pay Rate - starts at $21.63, goes to $22.13 after 40 work days
