Job Summary (80% onsite, 20% Remote):

Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support for approximately 1,200 Riviana US and Canada based employees located across the country.

The ideal candidate will have a strong HR Generalist background in a variety of disciplines to include health and welfare and retirement/401K benefits, HRIS systems reporting, compensation and incentive plan administration and excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability and direct working knowledge ADP Workforce Now is an important attribute. The position is for a “self-starter” who can manage time well, meet deadlines and follow up to address employee concerns in a timely, clear and comprehensive manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively administer the management of all retirement savings programs (DB Plan, 401K and Profit Sharing. This includes committee meetings, updating the Plan Documents as necessary, responding to employee inquiries, compliance filings, annual plan audits and liaising between the Company and the record keepers, actuaries and others involved in plan management and administration
  • Assisting in the on boarding of hourly and salaried new hires at sites across the Company. This includes assuring new employees are set up properly in the ADP system. Work cross functionally with Payroll and Plant HR Leaders
  • Working collaboratively with Corporate HR Staff on Incentive Compensation Plan Administration, developing and distributing plan summaries, calculating payouts and disbursing information or plan participants
  • Coordinating HR efforts to complete the annual Non-Financial Reporting process conducted by our parent company, Ebro Foods, SA
  • Completing monthly headcount reports
  • Supporting our facilities across the US and Canada on HR inquiries
Education:
  • BS desired, but not required
Work Experience:
  • 5-7 years’ HR Generalist required preferably dealing with an entity with multiple sites
  • Hands-on experience of ADP Workforce Now with an understanding of report compilation and systems capabilities
  • Prior experience with compliance processes in benefits, recruiting and compensation administration
