The Parboil Machine Operator is responsible for operation of all equipment pertaining parboiling rice.
NOTE: Shift is 7p-7a, rotating 4 nights on/4 nights off
Duties & Responsibilities are listed below but not limited to:
- Makes adjustments on equipment, and reporting operation conditions to the Production Supervisor
 - Performs minor maintenance of equipment, and sanction of the Parboil.
 - Records data on appropriate forms
 - Maintain proper product level to equipment
 - Completes master sanitation schedule as required
 - Sets up equipment to process product to achieve the intended quality at the maximum production rate. Reviews and trouble shoots equipment on a routine basis and notifies Processing Shift Supervisor of malfunctions or possible problems. Makes adjustments to process conditions when required.
 - Keeps abreast of product quality by:
	
- Understanding product specifications
 - Reviewing Quality Control data on a regular basis
 - Receives samples of product produced, reviews sample and note any problems to Production Supervisor
 
 - Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following all 5S standards
 - Understand and adheres to all safety and employment policies and procedures
 - Other duties as assigned
 
- Must be 18 years old
 - Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting, prolong standing, ability to see different colors
 - Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
 - Ability to work in environment which may include heat, cold, dust, noise with the use of personal protective equipment
 - Ability to work in elevated areas
