IT Infrastructure Senior Manager
The IT Infrastructure Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Riviana’s IT infrastructure in the US and Canada, with a special focus on the factory plants the company has accross North America. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the stability and efficiency of network systems, and leading projects to enhance the organization's technological capabilities. The role will report to the Corporate CIO and the strategy must be aligned with the one established at corporate level. Locally will have a dotted line to report to the North America CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 6 IT professionals in systems, networking and users support.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure components, with special focus on the Riviana Plants across the US and Canada.
- Manage and update reference architecture and implementation standards for industrial IT infrastructure on premises and also support cloud services when applicable.
- Drive and advise on strategies, implementation, and management of Cloud / Private Cloud hosting services as well as on premise services running today, particularly in the plants.
- Actively monitor risks to technical delivery and work with project and engineering teams to find solutions to technical challenges.
- Coordinate with Operations/Support teams for deployment activities.
- Ensure the IT infrastructure team has a strong internal customer focus.
- Define and support Riviana’s plants renewal and enhance IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth via operational expansion through organic growth or acquisition.
- Manage IT infrastructure projects to meet Riviana and its parent company objectives.
- Provide advanced level support and administration of all components of the Microsoft Windows O/S, Office 365, and Azure cloud environments as well as the onpremise existing footprint.
- Create a plan and budget to properly ensure the reliability of the plants infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CCNA.
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, including network, security and systems administration.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of On premise, Cloud/Azure, knowledge of networking and systems configuration.
- Familiarity and driving knowledge of IT/OT environments.
- Experience with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL.
- Familiarity with reporting to the executive team.
- Understanding of cybersecurity defense practices and industry tools and procedures.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not necessary.
Work Environment:
- This position requires travel across US and Canada.
- The role involves working closely with various departments, including IT, locally and corporate, operations, and executive management.
